Why not use an off-the-shelf inspection app?

If one fits the way you work, use it; there are good ones for common inspection types. A bespoke app makes sense when your reports or workflow need something they don’t do, or when you want the app and your website working together.

Can it follow our report format?

Yes, and that is usually the reason to build one. The report is designed around what your clients need to read, and the app around the order you inspect in.

It depends mainly on how many inspection types and report formats it has to handle. We usually start with one, used on real visits, and add from there.

Field inspection apps

Inspect with no signal, report the same day.

Inspections happen in empty houses, basements and sites with no signal, and the report is often the evidence if something is disputed later. We build inspection apps that save everything on the phone, sync when they can and turn the visit into a clear report.

Who it’s for.

Clerks, inspectors and surveyors who report from site on their own
Firms whose reports are still typed up back at the office
Anyone whose reports become evidence, so they have to be thorough and easy to read

What it has to get right.

Works without signal: Everything is saved on the phone and syncs when there is a connection. Photo uploads keep going on a weak signal with visible progress, and reopening the app goes back to where you were.
This visit against the last: Each item shows its earlier record beside it with changes marked, so a check-out reads against the check-in.
Quicker on site: Your own phrases a tap or a spoken word away, and condition set for many items at once.
AI that drafts while you decide: It can read a meter from a photo, sort photos into items, describe visible defects and draft summaries. Nothing is saved until the inspector accepts it.
Reports people can open: Each report goes out as a private link with every photo and a PDF to download. Links can be withdrawn or set to expire.
